“Iranshid is a kind and insightful art teacher for both kids and adults. In a supportive environment, she encourages all students to improve their skills and reach their creative vision. Students have a chance to try painting (watercolor, acrylic), pen and ink, watercolor pencils, as well as ceramics. My daughter has been taking Iranshid's art classes for more than 4 years and her artistic, as well as personal growth has been impressive! She is always excited to see Iranshid and try new art projects, both after school and during school break camps. For adults, Iranshid creates a supportive and fun environment, serving light refreshments and leading everyone in a creative project. I can't say enough good things about Iranshid!”

“Iranshid’s art classes and camps have been a haven for our daughter. Her studio can only be described as a welcoming and calming oasis. In a world where we shuffle our kids, as you walk down the driveway to her curated space, time stops and my child is creatively nurtured. Iranshid cultivates that with her thoughtful open ended curriculum and generous spirit. Our daughter came home with confidence and begged to go back. And the healthy meals and snacks were a gift to this momma trying to keep her head above water.”

“Iranshid and her classes have been an integral part of my kids' momentum in creating art and expressing themselves. We all absolutely adore her and the tremendous love and spirit that she brings to her teaching and her interactions with the children. She is able to combine clear instruction with spaciousness for the children to individuate and express their own interpretations of each project. My kids come home talking about things like art theory and shading techniques and how they overcame struggles with Iranshid's support. They always can't wait to return the next day for more. This program is a true gem.”

"My 10 year twins loved their time with Iranshid learning new skills, exploring their creativity and producing beautiful art which I will treasure forever. They brought home beautiful acrylic and watercolor paintings, drawings, collages art, and sewing projects. I highly recommend her art camps for any young artists that would love to have fun whilst exploring their creativity and learning new art skills."

"Our daughter Neve attended Iranshid’s summer art camp for a few years and we have never experienced anything like it. Iranshid creates a unique space in which the persons creative inner world can finally flourish. Neve not only made beautiful pieces of art in all mediums whilst in her studio, but came out of each class nourished in her spirit. The studio is light and airy and so inspiring. Her food is a delicacy, according to Neve! You will emerge from your experience feeling you have been in the presence of and touched by something magical”

"One Big Love Studio in Oakland is wonderful for kids developing strong skills in drawing and painting (they offer other classes during the summer too). It’s a little bit of a drive from Berkeley, but we’ve found it to be worth the trouble. There are school break camps as well as summer sessions. ”
